We are currently accepting new clients at Pollema Counseling Center, and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe meaningful therapy is not just about insight, but also about reconnecting with yourself in a deeper way. This often includes a “returning home” to your body—learning to listen to it, feel safe in it, and use it as a source of grounding and healing. My approach blends cognitive therapy with somatic (body-based) work, creating space for both understanding and felt experience. I also offer therapy intensives that can be a great fit for clients who want to do deep trauma healing- feel free to ask about this on our call!
I specialize in trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem and anxiety. My therapeutic background draws from Somatic Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches. I am trained in Brainspotting and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)- therapies designed to help your brain process trauma and alleviate PTSD symptoms.
