Grief Therapy Group: Loss of a Parent
Losing a parent changes you in ways few people understand. This in-person biweekly therapy group is a supportive space for adults navigating the complex, often isolating grief that follows the loss of a parent. Together, we’ll explore grief beyond “stages,” including how loss reshapes identity and relationships. We will also focus on continuing bonds—how connection can remain present even after death. Members find relief in naming experiences that have felt difficult to express elsewhere and in realizing they are not alone in loss. Facilitated by a trauma and grief therapist, this group offers understanding, validation, and connection with others who get it.
