Lauren Pellizzi
Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
Location
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders in adults, and children ages 10 and up. My expertise includes obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and specific phobias. I am a graduate of the International OCD Foundation's Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). Treatment is conducted within a cognitive behavioral framework and relies heavily on Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) as well as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) which are evidence based treatments for OCD and anxiety disorders.
I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Research has shown CBT-I to improve sleep in 75% of insomnia patients and eliminate/reduce the use of sleep medication. CBT-I includes an initial individual assessment and five 45 minute individual treatment sessions over a 6 week period.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your concerns, struggles, and identify the attainable goals that will improve your quality of life. If you are interested in becoming a new client please contact me at http://www.anxietytherapyredbank.com/new-clients.html.
