None of my clients are failures or broken because they choose to come to counseling. In fact, I believe everyone grows up learning unspoken rules about what they should and shouldn’t do as a decent human being, when in reality, there’s a lot of rules that simply need to be readjusted. If you're currently struggling with your past, present, or future, let me take some of the burden off your shoulders. I currently am scheduling individual adults, couples, and college students. I especially love to help individuals struggling with relationships issues and folks with low self-esteem/confidence.
Some clients begin therapy with a clear idea of the changes they want to make, while others know they want a difference in their lives but are less clear on what that needs to be. Both types of clients are validated and honored. I work to help people through difficult challenges while incorporating humor and supportive direction.
My counseling theories used during therapy include Gottman Method Couples Counseling, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Brainspotting. I am a Certified Gottman Therapist which allows me to provide couples with expertise on healthy communication and conflict management. I offer both in-person counseling and telehealth counseling.
