None of my clients are failures or broken because they choose to come to counseling. In fact, I believe everyone grows up learning unspoken rules about what they should and shouldn’t do as a decent human being, when in reality, there’s a lot of rules that simply need to be readjusted. If you're currently struggling with your past, present, or future, let me take some of the burden off your shoulders. I currently am scheduling individual adults, couples, and college students. I especially love to help individuals struggling with relationships issues and folks with low self-esteem/confidence.
Some clients begin therapy with a clear idea of the changes they want to make, while others know they want a difference in their lives but are less clear on what that needs to be. Both types of clients are validated and honored. I work to help people through difficult challenges while incorporating humor and supportive direction.
My counseling theories used during therapy include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Gottman Method, and Brainspotting. I have completed training levels 1, 2, & 3 for Gottman Method Couples Counseling and am currently working towards becoming a Certified Gottman Therapist. I offer both in-person counseling and telehealth counseling.
