My name is Lauren, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois. I have over 13 years of experience working in a wide range of settings.
In our first session, we will focus on what led you to therapy and what you hope to gain from working with me. We will work to set goals and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I know the first session can be intimidating; therefore, I strive to make sessions comfortable and work to meet my clients where they are.
My greatest strength as a provider is listening and making my clients feel comfortable during sessions. I am genuine and approachable in sessions, but I will not hesitate to express my thoughts. I believe that therapy should be a genuine experience focused on the individual needs of each client.
