Reaching out to start therapy can be one of the hardest things one does; my goal is to provide a safe and comforting place to feel heard. Advocating for mental health is close to my heart, and helping individuals become happy, healthy, and empowered is a passion of mine. I utilize proven, evidence-based practices coupled with a highly tailored approach to help individuals achieve their goals. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT), and a variety of other modalities that suit my client’s needs.
I received my BA in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M Kingsville and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have provided psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavior modification to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
