With nearly 20 years in the field of mental health, I am dedicated to helping adults navigate the complexities of life. I feel most passionate working with the “cycle breakers”— adults who are breaking generational cycles within their family systems. This can look different in each individual, but often includes difficulty with setting boundaries, putting others’ needs before your own, feelings of low self-esteem, & feelings of intense shame & guilt. My approach to sessions depends on each person’s unique needs, but in our work together, you can be sure there will be unconditional safety & no judgment.
I also believe in authenticity & the power of humor, which is something my clients truly appreciate! The client feedback I take the most pride in has been that I am easy to talk to, that I am unlike other therapists they have worked with previously, & that I just “get them.”
I incorporate Brainspotting into sessions, which is a gentle way to process intense emotions, unresolved trauma, & performance anxiety. I also have training in other evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, Motivational Interviewing). Starting therapy is brave and courageous, and I would feel honored to work with you on your healing journey.
