Hi, I’m Lauren Hernandez, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and certification in Play Therapy. I specialize in working with children (ages 3–18), teens, and college students, as well as parents, couples, and families.
Using child-centered play therapy, I help children express emotions, build confidence, and process challenges in a developmentally supportive way. I also work with parents to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate behavioral or emotional concerns.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming. I have experience supporting individuals and families impacted by ADHD and autism, and I am LGBTQ+ affirming, creating a safe space for clients of all identities and backgrounds.
