Lauren M Golombek, MA, LAC, Counselor in Tucson
I believe building therapeutic rapport is the essential foundation of healing. It is important to allow people to grow in their own time, while holding space for their process. My goal is to promote a safe and comfortable environment to work through past wounds and help in building resilience. I work from an empathetic and empowering approach. I have a range of experience working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, codependency, low self-worth, and difficulties in relationships.
People often enter therapy with great amounts of fear and shame. I integrate Shame-Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral and Strength-based interventions to aid in healing. I am also trained in Level 1- and Level 2 EMDR. I help clients minimize the barriers that impact their ability to live full lives.
Our work together will be collaboration towards your goals, growth and healing in a compassionate and warm environment. I am passionate in aiding the process of helping you in becoming your authentic self. Please note: I am an employee at Alive and Well, under supervision of Christina Romano, LPC, LISAC.
