My approach to therapy centers on building a trusting relationship with the individuals I work with. I recognize that entering in to therapy can be a vulnerable and challenging experience – to speak to a stranger about your thoughts, feelings, fears, and dreams. First and foremost, I strive to create a space that feels grounding, safe, and compassionate. From this space is where I believe individuals can tap in to their inner wisdom, challenge themselves, explore their depth of mind and achieve a greater sense of understanding and peace.
I specialize in content including interpersonal trauma and abuse, relationship & family challenges, recovery and healing from sexual assault, and work with gender and sexuality within the LGBTQ+ community. I believe strongly in work that is rooted in social justice, and strive to approach my practice from an anti-oppressive lens.
