I seek to provide a non-judgmental and collaborative approach during the counseling process. My goal is to provide space for clients to work through their concerns and achieve health and healing. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all of my clients. I believe that my role as counselor is to guide, nurture, challenge, educate, and assist my clients as they move toward wellness and recovery. I encourage clients to not only discuss their concerning issues, but to work toward creating an environment and lifestyle that is conducive to their well-being.
I have experience working at a multilevel treatment program providing group and individual therapy, as well as, individual therapy in a private practice setting. My clinical experience includes assessing and treating depression, anxiety, and additional mood disorders. I also provide therapy to assist with grief and loss.
In addition, I have specialized training in assessing and addressing perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety.
