My therapeutic approach is derived from a combination of cognitive-behavioral and systemic techniques. Each interaction is addressed in relation to habitual patterns that may have become stuck or conflictual, and a systemic therapist makes interventions to help the client (s) consciously make healthier choices to create more intimacy or functionality in these relationships. I have been in private practice for over 10 years, helping couples and individuals with their relationship conflicts and psychiatric challenges as well as their desires for improved communication and intimacy.
I specialize in treating a variety of sexual disorders and conflicts, including orgasmic disorders, desire discrepancies, erectile disorders, pelvic pain, infidelity, performance anxiety, out-of-control sexual behavior, non-monogamous relationships, and helping with establishing better boundaries.
In addition to couple and sexual issues, I am skilled at working with clients who have general psychotherapy goals they want to address, including work/life balance, family of origin stress, couple communication standoffs, depression, and anxiety.
