My passions are helping adults and teens navigate ADHD, life transitions and developmental trauma. Navigating life with ADHD can be difficult at any age. I seek to help parents, children and adults learn to accept the gifts and manage the challenges of living a successful life with ADHD. Life transitions are major life events that can be difficult to work through. Developmental trauma occurs when we do not get what we need emotionally from our caregivers as children. Altough often intentional this can leave us feeling damaged and unloved. I seek to help you discover how to connect to and love yourself and others.
I believe everyone possesses the tools to heal themselves, and I strive to provide a supportive environment to facilitate this process. I use talk therapy, connecting with emotions in the body, breathing techniques, guided imagery and meditation as well as a lot of active listening and provide choices and asking you what feeling like that next right thing.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Austin College and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I listen to each person’s story and help them connect with their mind and body, so they can find their path toward wellness
