I bring compassion and patience and many years of experience to my practice. I am primarily an addiction specialist who, for over 30 years, has worked successfully with individuals, couples and families affected by the disease of addiction. My style is open and direct. I believe that to be effective the therapeutic relationship must be a partnership between the client and the therapist that is solution focused.
I am skilled at helping clients with issues faced in early recovery as well as the often unexpected challenges that life brings after years in recovery. I have also developed an expertise in helping clients navigate the painful and complicated divorce process and move on to build a fulfilling life.
Both my personal experience and professional training have lead me to the certain belief that anyone who is motivated to ask for help and has the willingness to do the work can change, heal and grow. I have evening and weekend hours available.
