I work collaboratively with children, parents, and families faced with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Some of the areas I work with include self-esteem, social skills, relationships (peers/ family), self-regulation, life transitions, and coping. I also focus on working with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.
I use an integrative approach based in ecosystemic play therapy. Therapy sessions often include play and art-based interventions that match the child’s developmental stage and interests. When appropriate, I work with teachers, other healthcare providers, and other agencies to advocate for families and coordinate treatment.
