Hi, my name is Lauren Frederick, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. My goal is to provide quality counseling services to the community. I believe that everyone deserves to have someone unbiased who can listen and validate their feelings. Each and every person is unique, and their counseling experience and relationship must be tailored to their unique needs, but everyone can find some peace in counseling. I use a variety of counseling techniques mostly stemming from Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I work mostly with clients who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and typical life stressors.
I am very open and honest and do my best to create a warm, positive atmosphere for my clients where they feel comfortable being themselves and letting thoughts flow freely without judgment. I like to help clients set reasonable, appropriate goals that are tailored to their specific needs and desires.
I became a therapist after teaching for 8 years. I initially went into counseling to become a school counselor but fell in love with clinical counseling and helping more people in a 1-on-1 setting. I love seeing clients make positive changes in their lives and see a reduction in symptoms that make their daily lives easier and more positive.
