Everyone can benefit from therapy in some way, yet reaching out for help can be difficult. As a systemic therapist, I believe the relationships that we are apart of, and the experiences that we have, influence our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. I enjoy helping clients explore the various systems they are connected to as they continue to learn about themselves .I have a collaborative and client-centered therapeutic approach. I am passionate about working with teens, adults, and couples.
I specialize in supporting clients who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image disturbance, perfectionism, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I have completed all 3 levels of couples therapy training through the Gottman Institute. I am a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) through IAEDP.
Additionally, I have training in Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), a type of therapy aimed to support those who struggle with over-control and perfectionism. I am also trained in Brain Spotting- a powerful and effective somatic therapy for healing trauma.
