Life sometimes throws us out of alignment. Though we may have gotten good at toughing it out, we can also find ourselves feeling burnt out, unsure of our next step, how to move forward, or how to feel better. I help my clients orient themselves after life transitions — adjusting to new roles (personal, professional, academic), loss, grief, or chronic conditions — and manage anxiety, depression, and stress. I work with my clients to locate their needs, recognize patterns and goals, and experiment with new strategies while identifying their innate wisdom.
I help my clients connect the dots about patterns that are not serving them before getting curious about new, more empowering responses. I take a creative and active approach to therapy, informed by narrative, somatic (of the body), and mindful strategies. I encourage self-compassion and curiosity and bring skills-teaching into my work.
