I am passionate about co-creating narratives of identity and experience that clients find empowering. Looking at the ways that sexism, racism, transphobia, fatphobia, ableism, and other social influence impact our lives helps us to see problems more clearly, and reduce the guilt and shame we carry. I cater mostly to clients who believe they are “too sensitive,” and working to make peace with their mind and emotions. I am elated to work with anyone who would like to build self esteem, healthier relational patterns, and a more authentic life. I'm also passionate about therapeutically integrating experiences from psychedelic medicines.
My therapy style is collaborative, and I will center you as the expert in your own life. At the heart of my practice is a strengths-based approach that celebrates your accomplishments, resources, and strengths. I am much more interested in uncovering the knowledge that already exists inside of you, rather than telling you what to do.
My mission is to create a non-judgmental space when you are free explore exactly who you are, and what you are wanting and needing from your life. And therapy is a no exception from that. So if we meet, and you find that I am not the right fit for you, I am happy to adjust, or help you find someone who is a better fit. Hope to hear from you soon.
