Dr. Dumont has devoted her life’s work to helping people reconnect with their capacity for growth, peace, and authentic joy—even in the midst of life’s most challenging seasons. Lauren collaborates closely with clients to build a secure, supportive therapeutic space where depth, honesty, and growth are possible and welcomed. Her style is warm, compassionate, and often infused with appropriate humor. She is especially drawn to working with individuals who are outwardly capable and accomplished, yet inwardly seeking deeper alignment.
She earned her doctorate from Loyola University Maryland and has trained and worked in a variety of outpatient settings. She has pursed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and is currently pursuing advanced training in Accelerated Experiential Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
