Lauren offers a non-pathologizing alternative approach to traditional talk therapy. A clinically trained somatic and EMDRIA approved EMDR trained therapist, Lauren considers the complex nature of various biopsychosocial aspects of a person’s unique experience that influence overall well-being and mind-body connection. Lauren integrates evidence-based techniques to help individuals discharge chronic stress and release trauma, while rewiring both the brain and the body. Clients gain awareness and develop adaptive patterns to experience healthier mental, emotional and physical states for optimal functioning and increased resilience.
From Lauren: Physiology of recovery involves more than simply thinking our way out of it. I offer a weekly VIRTUAL somatic processing group on Wednesday evenings where together, without using words, we practice techniques to release what is blocking you, weighing you down, or causing unwanted symptoms. It is not necessary to currently be in therapy to join.
