About
Children are too young to be able to express themselves efficiently though language and, instead, use play to communicate their thoughts and feelings. As a child psychotherapist I have been trained to speak their language and teach them how to overcome adversity through play. I provide in-person play therapy for kids ages 4-12. My my career has been dedicated to helping the young cope with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma and loss. I provide children with a safe place where they can express their feelings and resolve problems while teaching them skills essential to emotional regulation.
Parenting is never easy. I provide parents and guardians with the support that they need to help their children overcome obstacles. In the playroom I use a variety of mediums, including sand tray, art, and puppets, so I can tailor my treatment to fit each child's interests and needs.
I work with children to help them overcome struggles at school and at home while providing guidance to parents. Contact me for a free 15 minute consultation. My fees are determined on a sliding scale so that I can provide affordable care to those who need financial help.
