I’m Lauren Brown, a Resident Licensed Master Social Worker with 3 years of experience. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, mental stress, life transitions, behavioral issues, ADHD, grief, and family conflict. With a background in child welfare and 10 years of experience supporting families in foster care, I have developed a deep understanding of how to connect with people facing various life stressors, particularly those who have struggled with limited resources.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Howard University, and I tailor my treatment approach to each individual’s needs. I often use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to support my clients.
