Hello. I'm so glad you found my page. Perhaps you’re going through a life transition, exploring your LGBTQ+ identity or grappling with a childs' identity. Maybe the socio-political environment is wreaking havoc on your nervous system or code-switching is becoming increasingly intolerable. You don’t have to journey alone. I'm a married lesbian mom of three and I've centered my fifteen years of mental health experience with the LGBTQ+ community helping individuals, groups and families through challenges such as these.
I primarily use trauma-informed, narrative and attachment modalities. I implement CBT when appropriate and I'm always looking through a multicultural, feminist and intersectional lens. In the counseling room, you will find me to be warm, explorative and insightful. I believe that you are the author of your narrative and I, your trusty passenger.
My expertise is in working with individuals who are navigating identity questions, trauma recovery, life transitions, anxiety/depression, relational issues, religious abuse, gender/sexuality questions, etc. My hope is that by fostering insight and reflection, you can add meaningful change to your life.
