I believe that contact with a psychologist can be impactful in as little as one visit, and a variety of different strategies can be utilized once someone has begun developing insight. Often people are ready to make changes but can't get an appointment soon enough, or they aren't sure if they want to go to therapy but the process is intimidating and overwhelming. I created this teletherapy process to bridge that gap, to assist patients with discovering their needs while also giving the option to treat them with therapy virtually.
For years I've worked in hospitals providing crisis intervention and psychological evaluations with the behavioral health population and have developed an expertise in solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing and the ability to engage in CBT and insight oriented therapy in the midst of a comprehensive psychosocial evaluation.
I know how difficult it can be to find a good match with a qualified, genuine psychologist. I hope to be able to assist you in this journey by either providing you with diagnostic impressions, an action plan for change and assist with your next steps, or, if both parties agree, to move forward with therapy virtually.
