Lauren is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2009. Lauren practices research-based therapeutic interventions to support others in finding their path to coping and healing. She is passionate about helping to build self-awareness, perspectives, hope, courage and wisdom.
Lauren believes that tuning into ourselves, challenging our thinking and behaviors, and gaining insight, will allow us to practice self-love, and explore new understandings and perspectives to find more peace and comfort within ourselves, in relationships, and all other endeavors.
Lauren enjoys finding adventure by being in nature, traveling and finding a way to laugh some every day. You might find her enjoying her free time on water, skates, a yoga mat, dance floors, nature trails or wherever the horses are. Lauren works with adults, couples, and teens and is currently accepting new clients.
