Standing in our truth is one of the most difficult things a person can do and it is one of the most courageous. Congratulations on taking steps on your healing journey. I have focused my therapeutic work on encouraging and validating individuals to discover and "stand in" our authentic selves. No matter what, it is a crucial part of our healing journey. I focus my therapeutic work on Trauma Informed modalities, such as EMDR, TF-CBT and IFS (aka 'parts work'), along with customizing treatment based on your individual goals.

My specialty includes trauma informed care and modalities to work along side survivors as they heal and embrace their power throughout this journey. I also work with an array of other mental health needs/diagnosis'. I am an EMDRIA certified therapist and I am an IFS informed clinician through the Circle, IFS Institute.

Often times we have had negative experiences that create a negative belief we then carry with us throughout our life. I use EMDR in order to assist in identifying negative distorted cognitions, desensitize, and reprocess more accurate cognitions. This way people can challenge the distortions and improve quality of life.
