I work with clients who are struggling with various kinds of suffering-- including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and the more ordinary experiences of navigating life's challenges, losses, and transitions. I offer support and tools for staying with difficult emotions, and generating kindness and curiosity towards all kinds of experience. Together, we find more space to breathe and grow through these challenges. I work with adults, adolescents, and diverse populations of all kinds. I bring my lived experiences of working with my own challenges to my practice of supporting others.
Along with a Masters in Counseling (specializing in Transpersonal Psychology/Wilderness Therapy), I am trained in the body-centered, mindfulness-based work of Hakomi Therapy, and in the nature-based work of the Animas Valley Institute. I am also trained in somatic trauma therapy. I work with clients in the office, and I also offer outdoor sessions.
