Your mental health is a vital key to living your life to your fullest potential. My approach to counseling incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Healing, Inner Child Work/Reparenting, Gestalt & Mindfulness theories. I believe many of the problems we face in life are related to unhealthy thinking processes which affect the way we feel & interact with others. I also believe that it is through our struggles that we can learn, grow & find meaning & value in life. We will work together to find ways in which your thoughts/beliefs about yourself & others may be causing emotional distress in your life or your relationships.
I've worked with people facing a number of issues including the challenges of depression, anxiety, Trauma, OCD, Complex PTSD & PTSD, relationship issues & codependency. I offer you the support and guidance needed to assist you in learning healthy coping skills and addressing unwanted mental health difficulties.
You will be welcomed in a comfortable setting that provides you the ability to relax and focus on the issues you decide to address. Parking is easy as well. If you are a veteran or loved one of a veteran, I also want to offer my support. My office is in a convenient part of the city near various forms of public transportation.
