Coming to therapy takes a lot of courage, and it also probably means you have been doing your best to address your personal issues for some time now. I work from the vantage point that growth is always possible no matter how dire or stuck you may feel. In my practice, I use an eclectic therapeutic approach that stresses reflection, support, validation, collaboration, and aims to foster the insights and behaviors needed for change. My goal is to meet you where you are and get you to where you would like to be. I specialize in stress, depression, anxiety and related issues.
I am a therapist with over 20 years of experience and have my Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapy license in the following states: NY, MA, PA, SC, NC, and VA where I am able to practice. I assist those that have relationship issues and people who have been traditionally/socially disenfranchised.
My hours are flexible and by appointment. I typically can return calls within 24 hours and can meet within 3 working days of your call. I do not accept insurance at the present time but I do offer a sliding scale. Research is clear that psychotherapy works; I'm looking forward to helping you achieve your goals.
