About
Hello! First, I want to acknowledge what a brave, scary step it can be to begin therapy. I am passionate about mental health and want people to know that it really can get better. I work with mental health disorders in adults, especially anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am particularly passionate about working with people struggling with past traumas or hardships that continue to affect their life in the present. Together we can work on issues such as understanding your mental health, coping with difficult thoughts & emotions, self esteem, interpersonal issues, managing your mood, and more.
I see the client as being in the driver's seat, and I support people to identify and work toward goals. I use CBT and mindfulness techniques to help people become more connected with their emotions and thoughts.
Please know your quality of life really can improve! Email me (preferred) or give me a call, we can discuss what you would like to gain from therapy and I can answer any questions you may have.
