I also have deep understanding of the unique emotional and psychological experiences that accompany post-partum depression and anxiety. With my continued work with hospitals as well as my continued education in Perinatal Mood Disorders, I am uniquely qualified to work with mothers on issues related to parenthood.
The most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. I work to co-create a safe and caring environment in which people can work toward self-actualization, understanding, and balance within their lives and relationships. My clients find my style humorous and affirming while also challenging and stimulating.
I believe in our innate desire & ability to heal. Sometimes we need assistance in finding the path to wholeness and health. Other times we need someone to hold us accountable to change. I encourage clients to work through the current issues resounding in their life and develop insight into their own patterns of behavior and relationships to become empowered.
