Are you feeling uncomfortable in your skin? Struggling to find motivation to do the things you enjoyed before? Feeling confused about your identity or your relationships? Engaging in behaviors you want to stop or don’t understand? I work to support people in exploring solutions to their mental health and recovery challenges and needs. I work with my therapy dog “co-therapists” (non-shedding labradoodles). I have a deep personal commitment to celebrating diversity and working with individuals with unique life experiences and identities. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks (and am Queer/Genderqueer myself).
I work collaboratively to determine each person's unique needs. I utilize a range of strengths-based and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions depending on your needs. Some of these are: Animal Assisted Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, somatic, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play-based therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I am currently only taking new patients who are 18+. We all need connection and support to overcome hurdles and grow. I would be honored to work together to help identify what makes you feel like your most authentic and grounded self. If you are curious about the way our work together could help you learn and grow: please send me a message!
