I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and trained Drama Therapist based in California. I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology and Drama Therapy. I help adults, teenagers and preteens (ages 10+) with self esteem, stress, identity struggles, peer relationships, racism/systemic injustice and life transitions.

My approach is relational, strength based with a pace attuned to your needs and goals. My calling is spiritual and grounded in the belief that everyone who is willing can find positive and affirming changes in their life with the right support.

Having worked within multiple community settings before before and after becoming licensed, I am able to appreciate how these different environments can cause trauma, exacerbate mental health struggles and behavioral symptoms . That knowledge is essential to providing a responsive, holistic approach.

An in person, creative support group for people needing space, collaborate and find ways of maximizing their energy following the results of the 2024 US Elections. The group will involve group discussion, embodied action, and mindfulness. Registration Deadline: 1/27/25. Start Date: 02/03/25. If stair access is a barrier for you, please let us know. Commitment to all 6 weeks is required. Facilitators: Sarah Harkness, LMFT# 88566 & Laurel Elliott, LMFT #141619. Cost: $80 per session, $320 for the series. A short phone intake is required. We will begin to evaluate intakes in early January.
