Life can be exhausting! We experience lots of distractions, responsibilities, and expectations that create burn out, trigger emotional wounds, lead to conflict in relationships, and make it hard to live the life we want. We all deserve to feel confident in our own skin and identities. I work with ages 11+. My previous experience includes working in community mental health, the justice system, and in homes providing a mixture of individual, couples, and family therapy with diverse populations, developing a special passion for working with parents, teens, queer people, substance use recovery, justice involved individuals, and RSO.
My session structure is person centered, allowing the client to set the pace and decide between clear, structured sessions or more free form. My treatment methods pull from strengths-based solution focused, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, internal family systems, Gestalt, and narrative therapy.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, ENM affirming, polyam affirming, kink affirming, and ground myself in an anti-racist, decolonizing perspective.
