My passion as a counselor is empowering clients to make the connections to make positive changes in their lives by offering a safe and empathetic counseling experience. I like to create opportunities for growth, and therefore my clients should expect to be challenged in ways that will allow for ongoing learning.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with about 23 years of experience working in a variety of areas of mental health. I learned my Bachelor in Psychology from Universidad del Valle Atemajac, Guadalajara, Jal. Mexico and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona.
