I have extensive experience helping adults and adolescents through a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, recent losses, life transitions, and relationship problems. I am experienced in and passionate about providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals. I work collaboratively with my clients to help each person find the best approach unique to them. I understand the transformative power of finding a trusted therapist, and I would love to be able to offer that to you.
My practice draws from a variety of techniques, including EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy. I believe each client needs something different and I will work with you to create a customized plan. I believe that authentic, face-to-face connection is healing, and that many of us simply do not experience enough of it in today's busy world.
Life can be hard, sometimes unbearably so, and many of us feel overwhelmed by global circumstances as well as our own lives. Having somebody to talk to can make a world of difference. I believe that with the right support and understanding, each of us has the capacity to grow and to heal.
