I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing counseling services to individuals and couples, and story work coaching both virtually and in-person. I utilize a variety of trauma-informed modalities to address the often life-long effects of Trauma and Complex PTSD. I am passionate about helping clients reorient life-long patterns of survival and disconnection that are at minimum no longer effective, but that typically contribute to ongoing present suffering.
I work well with Marital/Family conflict, Family-of-Origin dynamics, Emotional/Physical/Sexual Abuse, Trauma, Shame, and Mood Disorders. I utilize Narrative Focused Trauma Care, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing, and am EMDR trained.
As Peter Levine states, “Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence!” I believe that reclaiming authentic connection to our own hearts, bodies and trusted others is a labor of love that we are ultimately most meant for.
