We - as humans - at times get anxious, sad or stuck. Major life transitions, such as life stage or relationship changes, career or identity crises, or significant loss, can leave us questioning ourselves as well as our sense of direction and purpose. On the other hand, we can long for change but don't know how to create it, leaving us feeling stagnant or trapped. I combine an actively curious, accepting and collaborative approach with a secure therapeutic framework to help my clients navigate change and live life with more vitality, meaning and satisfaction.
I specialize in longer-term, depth-oriented therapy with people who are seeking change or struggling to adjust to it. My clients are often involved in academia, healthcare/MH, or other high-pressure professional fields. I draw from multiple psychotherapy approaches to help with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, identity, and obsessional struggles.
My experience living and working in four countries has made me especially attuned to the challenges of living between cultures and languages. I believe good therapy helps expand your curiosity and open-mindedness about yourself – who you have been, who you are, and who you would like to be – and so makes it easier to identify and reach where you want to go.
