The pressure of our ever changing world and relationships often pushes us into unhelpful ways of coping and relating to those we love most. Sometimes, we need someone to see things with a fresh perspective, to help us see our strengths, and to open our eyes to the blind spots preventing the healing and progress we’re longing for. I offer individual and couples counseling, always looking to help clients move through the places they feel stuck and frustrated.
As a trained marriage therapist, I am deeply aware of the complicated and nuanced ways our relationships change through time. I work with couples to navigate infidelity, faith transitions, address communication problems, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, maneuver depression or anxiety, and find the joy they are looking for in their marriages.
My goal in working with clients is to connect them with their best selves - the wise person within each of us that knows our values, tolerates the truth about who we are, and courageously uses that knowledge as a catalyst to personal and relational growth. As we do so, we begin to move through the ups and downs of life with more integrity and patience.
