My practice is empathy-forward and tailored to you. I take a mind-body approach to treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Exploring self-compassion, identity, disability, neurodivergence, gender, and sexuality is my passion. If you are moving through life changes or decisions, I see myself as a trail guide who can help you define your own goals and map a path. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating life transitions, working on connecting with people you care about, exploring spirituality or nature, making sense of life experiences, or just becoming more YOU, I am here to walk with you.
Having worked in the service and nonprofit industries before becoming a therapist, I have a heart for the challenges of work. And as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, experience has shown me how important it is to be a supportive and affirming therapist. I use liberation pedagogy to connect with the mind and somatic therapy to connect with the body.
I see mental health concerns as responses to painful or unjust circumstances, and I believe healing and change are possible. To support you in naming and moving toward goals, I listen to you and offer compassion, skills, and creative self-reflection opportunities. This may feel like a big commitment, and it is a commitment to yourself that provides accountability and support from a consistent group of peers. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an evidence-based therapy that provides practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, enhancing mindfulness, and effectively handling distress. Starting January 6, 2026 Duration: 24 weeks Location: In-Person Only
