As a clinical social worker, I fiercely believe in the dignity and worth of my clients and consider it an honor to support them in their journey towards less suffering and more meaning. I work with clients navigating a variety of challenges related to emotional distress, identity and belonging, relationships, and life transitions. My clinical experience includes work at a pediatric hospital, adolescent and family outpatient mental health clinic, and university counseling center.
I believe that clients are their own experts and prioritize remaining client-centered and strengths-based in therapy. I tailor my approach to each client's needs and integrate aspects of psychodynamic therapy, self-compassion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness meditation.
I offer a warm and empathic presence and view the client-therapist relationship as fundamental to change.
