Therapy is a place to get to know yourself better; a place where you don’t have to care for others; instead receiving care, attention and focus from an attentive therapist. Maybe you’re sick of the same arguments, patterns, or periods of depression or anxiety. . This is not quick or easy work and it requires trust and connection with a therapist who supports you without judgement. I work with clients to gain insight into their motivations and desires, supporting them on their path through life’s ups and downs.
With humor and compassion, I’ll work with you on developing skills and tools to manage challenging relationships, disappointments at work and/or life transitions. I work with folks of all backgrounds struggling with depression and/or anxiety, particularly with those who are new to psychotherapy.
Clients may also be parents adjusting to life with a newborn, struggling with the ways this affects family and career dynamics or parents of children with disabilities who are looking for a space to process their own challenges and moments of joy in this experience.
