About
I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to transform their inner and relational conflicts into opportunities for growth and life change. I have seen deep transformation take place in clients when they begin to learn compassion for themselves and begin to address the source of their symptoms so that true and lasting change can occur. Clients I work with most are those suffering from mood disorders, complex trauma, PTSD, midlife transitions, and relationship issues. I also offer support to family members of individuals with mood disorders, PTSD and ADD/ADHD. I also offer clinical supervision to associates.
I use a psychodynamic approach incorporating, mindfulness, imaginal/dream work, cognitive, and somatic therapies to address clients' issues in an integrative way. Tailoring my approach to each individual allows them to develop the necessary psychological tools that work best to help them navigate life's challenges.
I did my graduate research in EMDR, which has shown to be effective in the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma and other deep rooted issues. Utilizing EMDR in my practice has been very effective for clients who feel stuck in unhealthy patterns or are plagued by overwhelming emotions.

Laura Rose's Groups
Relationship Enrichment Group
Sometimes relationships fall into unhealthy territory because the vision of what each partner wants out of their partnership has changed over time, or wasn’t clear from the beginning. In this group, we help couples re-imagine their relationships by fine tuning and clarifying individual expectations and ideas about what their relationship is and what they want out of it. When these unexplored and unexpressed areas are uncovered and brought to light, the relationship can function on a more genuine and honest level, giving an opportunity for each partner to find what they want in their experience of relationship.
