Clients often come to me when they've experienced trauma, intense anxiety, or challenges related to their identity. Many are going through major life transitions, whether in their careers, relationships, or personal lives. These struggles are sometimes rooted in complex cultural and social factors, especially for those in the BIPOC or LGBTQ communities. They might grapple with self-doubt, unhelpful beliefs, or trouble managing their emotions and relationships. I’m here to offer the support and tools they need to work through these challenges and find clarity and growth
I’m Dr. Laura Preciado, and I hold a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University. My doctoral internship was completed at the University of California, Irvine. In my practice, I use a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s needs. My counseling framework ensures that therapy is both culturally sensitive and empowering.
I have openings for new clients starting September 2024. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands diverse backgrounds and meets you where you are, please get in touch. I’m here to offer support and help you reach your goals. Email me to schedule a consultation. I look forward to working with you on your path to healing and growth.
