Being a therapist has seemed like a natural progression for me. I have always been able to easily relate to others and meet them where they are. I have taken my own struggles and used them to help make myself stronger and be able to gain insight into how to help others who may be struggling. I think anyone can benefit through the self-exploration that comes with therapy. I find it rewarding to see the progress people are capable of and to help them see the progress themselves. As an LPC I know how helpful supervision can. I also provide individual and group supervision to those working toward licensure.
I have many years of experience working with children and families as well as adults and couples. I have worked with individuals and families with children as young as 3 with a variety of concerns. I am a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy to treat PTSD symptoms. I am trained in different approaches.
I provide therapy that is non-judgemental and I seek to meet each person individually and see what they are experiencing and then build from there to solve or change. I’m here to provide you with the support you need to feel better than when we first begin.
