I know how deeply valuable it is to have a safe place to share the everyday events of our lives and identify how they connect to deeper beliefs and sometimes challenging experiences of the past. But I also know how to help you make bigger changes in your life and the way you experience it, by integrating deep listening, personalized coping strategies, trauma reprocessing (EMDR), and targeted useful information to help you heal and grow.
I really love getting to work with people whose brains all work differently from each other, whether it's because of ADHD, autism, trauma or just quirks of individuality. So I apply an array of research-backed therapeutic strategies-but I never lose sight of our common humanity and the connection that powers the magic of therapy.
When you're coming to therapy, you want to feel better-and it can feel pretty darn urgent by the time you start therapy with someone who 'gets' you and how your brain works. So while we are starting on the deeper stuff I also make a point of collaboratively identifying practical strategies that work for you in your life, to help you get to solid ground.
