My ideal client is someone who’s often been misunderstood or underestimated, adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other cognitive differences. They may be navigating systems that weren’t built for them, dealing with isolation, or trying to understand emotions in a world that doesn't often make sense. What they want is straightforward: to be taken seriously, to be supported without being talked down to, and to build a life that actually makes sense for them, not what everyone else wants for them. They want someone who speaks to them like a human and not another chart number.
I work with people often overlooked in therapy, especially adults with autism, intellectual or cognitive disabilities. I’ve spent almost a decade in this field and focus on respectful, practical strategies. I also have lived experience with chronic health issues and connect well with people facing less visible challenges.
Starting therapy is a big step whether you’re reaching out for yourself or someone you care about. My goal is to offer therapy that’s respectful, flexible, and focused on what actually works for them.
