Hello and thank you for taking a look at my profile. I have been working in the mental health field since I received my Master degree in 1995. I have experience working in private practice, with a CMH agency, and with a hospital, both on a psychiatric care inpatient unit and on the crisis services team. I have background in working with children, families, and adults. I work with people struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship or marital issues, adjustment to life changes, and those that struggle with suicidal thoughts, to name a few.
My therapy style is client-centered and solution-focused. You set your goals, and I support, empower, and encourage you in reaching them. I may assign homework and encourage messaging between sessions. Using a strength-based approach, I focus on the courage it took to get here and help you build on your supports.
