I believe that personal change takes courage. As a psychologist, I feel that it is my responsibility to guide an individual through this path of change and growth. In my practice I generally use cognitive behavioral techniques and strategies to bolster my client's strengths and help them learn new coping skills in place of ones that have begun to falter. My approach is individualized to your needs and personal goals. I work in both short-term and long-term contexts depending on the patient's needs and preferences.
In my practice as a psychologist I listen for the underlying issues of each individual and then work with them to create awareness and a better understanding of their struggles.
